Mark Twain on Kona Coffee

>> Thee ride through the district of kona to Kealakekua Bay took us through the famous "coffee and orange section."

I think the Kona coffee has a richer flavor than any other, be it grown where it may and call it by what name you please.

Coffee Story

Kelly Vargas started her coffee company after becoming acquainted with the best coffees in the world. Kelly's husband was born in Colombia and the family has been drinking Colombian coffee by default. Her  travels took her  to Hawaii where she married and  tasted Kona coffee and it was added to the list of favorites.

Currently residing in Colorado with her family she also learned about the benefits of high altitude roasting. The final piece that got Kelly to get started with her coffee company was when she was approached by a Kona coffee farmer to sell a private label  of coffee.  That brings us to today when you can taste these  special high altitude roasted coffees. The logistics of bringing  you these coffees from around the world to the US and then to high altitude for roasting and finally to your  table are quite a bit. But Kelly thinks it's worth it.  Enjoy her coffees.
